“No Cost Groceries of Home Pack” to sanitary workers of Virudhunagar District


SAMUNNATI is one of the SEEDS long time funding partner who have funded our Donate Now initiative with Rs.500,000 to support 500 vulnerable people of widows, abandoned children and destitute elderly people with “No Cost Groceries of Home Pack” each worth Rs.1000 during this country wide lock down to prevent the novel disease COVID-19. 


Mr. R. Kannan District Collector, Virudhunagar and Mr.SD.Pandian the Secretary of SEEDS distributed the Home Pack to 130 sanitary workers as vulnerable beneficiaries at the inaugural distribution function held at Athipatti village at Aruppukottai on 8th April 2020.


The District Collector in his address he expressed happiness over the livelihood support to the sanitary workers by the SEEDS and SEEDS FPCL. He is also willing to donate to the initiative of SEEDS to further support 1000 sanitary workers of the District. He urged the participants to strictly follow the preventive health care practices till the curfew.  The Secretary of SEEDS expressed happiness over the smile of the beneficiaries and thanked the District Collector for the valuable support to reach out to the real Heros who directly involved in battling with the out breaks of COVID-19.


Earlier Mr. S. Pandiaraj Project Coordinator of SEEDS Resource Institution welcomed the gatherings. Mr. P.Sivakumar the CEO of SEEDS Farmer Producer Company Limited and his senior marketing staff have organized the function effectively.

With tears, the sanitary workers have expressed their happiness from the bottom of the heart and thanked the SEEDS, SAMUNNATI and SEEDS FPCL for the timely help.
